ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reviewed the prevailing energy crisis during a high level meeting.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif and senior officials were also present in the meeting. Power situation following the massive breakdown, supply of electricity and furnace oil as well the terms of provision of 650MW to K-Electric were also discussed.
The PM said that measures should be taken to reduce load-shedding throughout the country. He further said that the government has launched several new power projects that would help overcome the prevailing crisis.
