Ford Explorer to come with 4-cylinder, V6 EcoBoost engine in $30,700

TOKYO: Ford Explorer will be the next model to get the premium treatment from Ford. Ford also did the same to the Ford Edge, previously and now they are working on the Ford Explorer.

The Ford Explorer will be coming in with a few engine options starting from the 2.3 liter four cylinder EcoBoost engine. The engine will be able to deliver 270hp and 300lb ft of torque. This engine was also used to power up the new Ford Mustang. The other engines offered here will be the V6 engine and also the V6 EcoBoost engine.

Ford will also be fitted the new Ford Explorer with a new grille that is designed to be slimmer and more upscale. A new set of headlight will also be fitted to the new Ford Explorer. Ford will also be adding in a new trim this time around called the Platinum trim.

The retail price for the Ford Explorer base model will start from $30,700.
