PIA flight PK-741 delays by 1 hour: Passengers get furious as minister comes 30 minutes late

ISLAMABAD: The passengers of PIA flight PK-741 got furious when Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Mohammad Yousuf arrived late in plane causing delay in flight.

As per media reports, the flight was scheduled to depart from Islamabad to Jeddah but there was a delay of about 30 minutes. Later, it was emerged that the flight was delayed for the religious affairs minister, who came about 30 minutes late to the airport.

The angry passengers protested at the airport lounge raising ‘go Nawaz go’ slogans. Though the minister reportedly apologised to the protesting passengers, but they continued with their protests which further delayed the flight. The take-off was subsequently delayed by an hour.

Last year in September, former interior minister Rehman Malik and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) MNA Dr Ramesh Kumar Wakwani had sparked outrage over the delay of PIA’s flight PK-370. The two were accused of holding the plane back while other passengers waited for hour.
