ISLAMABAD: Bahria Town has occupied 1500 kanals land of Capital development Authority (CDA) in zone-IV of Islamabad, said audit authorities in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the national assembly.
The meeting of Public Accounts Committee chaired by the chairman of the committee, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah was held at the parliament house.
The committee was informed that four times efforts were made to retrieve the occupied land from the Bahria town but the administration of the Bahria town did not appear.
It was told that the CDA has given up the out plan of the Bahria enclave and the people have been warned in this regard, saying that even the link road has been constructed against the law.
The PAC directed that notice should be immediately issued to Behria town regarding the demarcation of the government land.
