2000 applications filed against human traffickers lying unattended with Gujranwala FIA

SIALKOT: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has sent as many as 2000 pending applications to Director FIA Lahore for seeking legal opinion on these applications. According to the senior FIA officials, these applications had been submitted before the FIA for registration of separate cases against the notorious human traffickers several years ago. These applications had been lying unattended at FIA Gujranwala offices, in this regard.

The applicants had been suffering from great ordeal in getting their cases registered against the human traffickers, who had plundered millions of rupees from the hundreds of the innocent people by showing them the golden dreams of their lucid future abroad.

It was learnt that the notorious human traffickers were lying still at large due to lack of quick legal action against them. The concerned FIA officials said that 2000 applications had been lying with them for the last several years, which had been submitted before the FIA by the affected people, who sought help of FIA against the human traffickers , running the illegal business of sending the people abroad illegally by extorting handsome  amounts.

Now, after the years long wait, the FIA Gujranwala has sent these 2000 applications to the office of the Director FIA  Lahore , seeking the legal opinions on these applications.
