LAHORE: Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Lahore ordered three days physical remand of Director GMSA Faisalabad in case of tax evasion. GMSA is tax defaulter of Rs 439.638 million.
Muhammad Akram son of Ghulam Muhammad manufacturer and supplier of GMSA involved in mega tax evasion scandal. Federal Board of Revenue Intelligence found various accounts of GMSA with transaction amount worth Rs 2836 million. The case was registered against Muhammad Akram in mid of January. He violated section 3, 6, 11, 14, 22, 23, 26 and section 73 of Sales tax Act 2011. He had various fake accounts in different banks.
