Valuation rulings for various items issued

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has issued Valuation Rulings (VRs) of headphones, ear phones, hands free of mobile phones, room air fresheners, car air fresheners aluminum and radiators under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969.

According to the VR No.610/2013, headphones, ear phones and hands free for mobile phones from China having Pakistan Customs Tariff (PCT) Heading 8518.3000 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 8518.3000.1000 have customs value of $0.30 per piece.

Similarly, the Directorate General of Customs Valuation has issued another VR No. 611/2013 of room air fresheners and car air fresheners under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969.

According to the VR No.611/2013, the HS Code of the room air fresheners is 3307.4900 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 3307.4900.1000 for all origins with the customs value $1 per kg.

The HS code of the car air fresheners is 3307.4900 having the proposed PCT heading for WeBOC 3307.4900.1100 with the customs value $5.35 per kg.

Furthermore, the Customs Valuation Department has also issued the VR no. 612/2013 of aluminum and radiators under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969. Customs values of aluminum and radiators of China origin having the PCT code 8708.9110 and 8708.9190 respectively having the proposed PCT for WeBOC 8708.9110.1000 and 8708.9190.1000 are fixed at of $3.11per kg for both the items.

The value determined by these rulings shall be the applicable customs value for assessment of subject imported goods until and unless it is rescinded or revised by the competent authority in terms of sub-sections (1) or (3) of the Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969.
