LAHORE: Regional tax office-I has confiscated record of Punjab University’s Dean Marquee and Moon Marquee (Marriage Lawns) for evading tax for the last four months.
Sources said that the university management needed to submit 10 percent of the total amount of an event as tax to Federal Board of Revenue in advance. However, the management has been evading the tax for the last four months.
The regional tax office-I, keeping in view the extraordinary delay, has seized all the record of the two Marquee’s in order to collect tax.
