China Customs reveals 2,453 smuggling cases worth Yuan 15b last year

SHANGHAI: China Customs revealed 2,453 smuggling cases last year, which worth 15 billion yuan  (US2.4 billion dollars).

Cases included 91 in the Shanghai free trade zone with 4 million yuan and more than 115 kilogram drugs seized in 28 smuggling cases including one conspiracy to bring 70 kilograms of drugs from South America into China through the Yangshan Deep-Water Port in Shanghai last September.
