LAHORE: Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA) has asked Federal Board of Revenue to extend the date of filing of income tax returns by December 31, 2013 as the e-portal of the board is not working properly thus causing hardships to the taxpayers.
The demand was raised by LTBA President Qari Habib-ur-Rehman Zuberi at a meeting of the association. He was of the view that FBR will never be able to attain the set revenue target if it does not redress the issue with the web portal.
