ISLAMABAD – After the recommendation made by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to the foreign airlines for not using Pakistan’s airspace, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)-Pakistan is expected to suffer an average financial loss of around US $480,000 per day due to potential terrorist threats, says a report.

Sources said the recommendation was based on the reports of National Aviation Authorities (NAA), which indicated the existence of an increased risk to the safety of international civil flights, due to potential terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
