FCCI welcomes assurance of Chairman FBR to clear refund claims

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) President Engineer Rizwan Ashraf has welcomed the assurance of Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Tariq Bajwa to clear all pending refund claims of textile exporters by February 28.

In a statement issued, he said that huge sales tax refund claims up to Rs 102 billion were pending with FBR, adding that Chairman FBR would monitor the process of the payments of refund claims on daily basis to ensure clearance of all claims.
