TOKYO: Some really bad news for all the Mario fans out there, the DIY game may be postponed. The game was earlier slated to be released in the first half of this year, but it has now been postponed till further notice.

Mario brings back many childhood memories for many people. The multiplayer and single player Mario game was almost every kid’s favorite. The favorite pastime back then used to be to try and crack all the levels and also to try and find hidden shortcuts which used to take the gamers to an advanced level.

So it is obvious that those kids grew up and now want to design their own Mario game and then play it! How cool would it be?

Mario Maker is a game for Wii U that gives you a chance to make your own Super Mario gaming adventure levels in the style of the NES original or the more current New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Mario Bros. 3 and also the Super Mario World. Meanwhile, Project Guard is the Wii U Gamepad experiments that Shigeru Miyamoto had uncovered a year ago, and it is also free. It places you in total control of a security framework that will require careful observing of both the Gamepad and the TV screen.

Other Wii U games that are highly anticipated in the not so distant future are Splatoon, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and if everything goes according to the plan, also Legend of Zelda. All we know so far is that the Legend of Zelda for Wii U will be a game set in an open world scene, which you’ll have the to cross by walking or utilizing Link’s horse Epona.
