ABU DHABI: Ras Al Khaimah authorities foiled an attempt by a man to smuggle 26 houbara bustards in his car from nearby Oman.

Officials said the smuggler was arrested for interrogation while the birds would be handed over to the houbara breeding centre in Abu Dhabi.
