Processor power design improvements across CPU, graphics, I/O, and power management, and increased power efficiency of Intel’s 14nm manufacturing process, enable the processor to offer users an improved battery life compared with 4th-gen Intel Core processors (U series).

Acer Aspire E5-571 model sports a 15.6-inch HD (1366x768p) display. It features up to 12GB RAM and 1TB hard disk, and the latest Nvidia GeForce 800M series graphics card. It also comes with a built-in optical drive.

Acer claims that the notebook delivers up to 7 hours of battery back-up.

The notebook is equipped with a Precision Touchpad (PTP) that supports six core Windows 8.1 TouchPad gestures, reducing un-intended tap and cursor motions on the touchpad and improving pinch-to-zoom, smoother scrolling and screen navigation.

The device is also Skype Certified, offering enhanced Voice over IP (VoIP) experiences featuring a digital microphone and high quality speakers for better bass band audio performance and authentic Skype communication, as per the company.
