Acer unveils Acer One 2-in-1 device, supports Windows 8.1 for INR 19,999

NEW DELHI: Acer has unveiled the Acer One 2-in-1, which is a tablet and a notebook combined in one. The 2-in-1 will be exclusively available on Amazon at Rs 19,999 in India.

The compact and portable device features a detachable screen that allows easy transition between four modes – notebook, tablet, display and tent.

In the Notebook mode, one can use the device along with its keyboard like a laptop, while in the Pad mode, with the keyboard detached from the device, it can be used like a tablet.

The Display mode can be used to broadcast a video conference or sharing photos and movies while the Tent mode of the device makes it apt to be used in a narrow space.

The Acer One sports a 10-inch HD(1280x800p) multi-touch display (with 10 point touch). It runs Windows 8.1 OS.

Powered by a 1.3GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor, Acer One is available with 1GB and 2GB DDR3 RAM options and supports Windows 8.1. The keyboard dock come with 500GB of internal storage, while the tablet offers 32GB storage along with a microSD card slot. The tablet sports a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a micro-HDMI port and 2 USB ports. It has a 6,000mAh battery.
