ISLAMABAD: The imported LNG will cost more when converted to RLNG (re-gasified LNG) by about $2.5 per MMBTU and become expensive for CNG, fertilizer and power sectors.

Sources said that the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) has decided to renew valuation of the RLNG. The SNGPL has also planned add 10.50 percent unaccounted for gas (UFG) in the tariff of RLNG for CNG and fertilizer sectors.

According to the SNGPL, the average price of gas across the country stands at Rs380 per MMBTU and 10 percent of the said price is the UFG.
