PESHAWAR: Auditor General of Pakistan Javed Jehangir Thursday underscored the need for making contemporary changes in audit approach to make it result oriented and exemplary.
He expressed these views while groundbreaking ceremony of multistory audit complex here at Hayatabad costing Rs 135 million. Deputy Director General Audit Hashmat Iqal was present on the occasion.
The AGP said that our success was due to team work, adding that it is the team work that makes the institutions. The construction of audit complex was a step toward this end.
He said we should work honesty without compromising on standard of auditing. He said after completion of the complex all the institutions dealing with audit would work under one roof.
