Android 5.0 based HTC One E9+ comes with 5.5-inch Quad-HD display, 2.0GHz octa-core processor in China

BEIJING: HTC has showed off the new One E9+ smartphone in the Chinese market. The smartphone was listed on the company website, the pricing and availability details are unclear yet.

The smartphone features a dual-tone design with a metal frame and plastic back. Like other One-series phones, it also packs the BoomSound front-facing speakers with Dolby Audio enhancements.

Coming to the specifications, the One E9+ sports a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display and is powered by 2.0GHz MediaTek MT6795M octa-core processor. The phone comes with Android 5.0 with HTC Sense 7, dual-SIM support, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot and 2800 mAh battery.

On the imaging front, HTC has included 20MP rear camera and Ultrapixel front shooter in the phone. In addition, the connectivity options like NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE are present in the smartphone.

It is important to note here that there is some confusion about the final specifications of the E9+ as HTC China website lists different specifications on the features page and in specs sheet. We will update the post as soon as we get a confirmation. According to HTC, One E9+ will be released in three colours.
