Android 5.0 Lollipop available for download

NEW YORK: Android 5.0 Lollipop, the latest firmware, is now available over-the-air or through factory image for download.

The Pure Google devices that are getting the Android 5.0 treatment include Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 10, and Nexus 7 (2012). Factory images of the new OS version are already available to download and flash. LG Nexus 4 will also receive the new Android build, though it is yet to receive a Lollipop factory image.

It is worth nothing that Android 5.0 factory images available only for the Wi-Fi versions of both Nexus 7 models. Owners of 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7 devices with cellular connectivity will have to be a bit more patient.

The Nexus facility is not the only product range to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop today. A few hours ago, Motorola announced that the new OS is seeding the Moto G (2014) and the Moto X (2014) Pure Edition. The LG G3 has also begun receiving a heavily customized Lollipop build.
