NEW YORK: After iPhone 6S, iPhone 7, and the iPhone 7S, Apple will introduce the concept of iPhone 8 by 2018.

Designer Steel Drake that show what the iPhone 8 could look like. Essentially, it looks similar to the iPhone 6, but with a futuristic twist and a two-tone colour design.

The device in the drawings doesn’t appear to be any thinner than the iPhone 6, which isn’t too surprising considering that users can only go so thin before they can’t go any thinner at least with today’s technology.

What’s perhaps most unique about this rendered design is the wrap-around glass panel that goes all the way around the device horizontally, with metal sides to finish off the aesthetics. It actually doesn’t look half bad, and we imagine that companies will have had perfected wrap-around glass panels by 2018.

Other than that, though, the renders take a lot of the same design cues from the iPhone 6, including the volume buttons, speaker grille, etc. However, the camera lens on the iPhone 8 no longer protrudes from the device’s body and is flush with the back of the phone, and the power button on the side appears to be slightly shorter and stubbier on this concept, suggesting that users really don’t need that big of a power button, which we’d have to agree with to some extent.
