Apple, Verizon, T-Mobile begins shipping release date shipments for iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus

WASHINGTON: Apple, Verizon and T-Mobile have begun processing and shipping out release date shipments for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The smartphones and phablets are expected to be delivered on the date of release, Sept. 25, and not before.

Apple has seen the launch of its new flagship smartphones, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, begin quite successfully. Although the devices share the same design as their predecessors, new features like 3D Touch, faster A9 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 4K video recording and more, have been extremely well-received by consumers, and the company recently revealed it expects to have a record-breaking release.

We recently reported that the handsets are so in demand that many models and storage configurations are sold out. Especially popular are the supersized iPhone 6s Plus, the second-generation iPhone phablet, and all models in the newly-introduced rose gold color. Many of these items are backordered for periods up to a month, across all carriers.

Customers lucky enough to snag an iPhone, however, are seeing progress in the promised release date shipment.  Many have already had their credit cards charged for their new devices, and now, Apple, Verizon and T-Mobile have begun processing and shipping the devices.

Still, orders are not expected to be delivered until the official Sept. 25 release date, although in previous years, some customers received their new iPhone ahead of Apple’s publicized release date. Carriers like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, however, sometimes go rogue and ship several days early, so customers who ordered through a carrier can check their accounts for their order status.
