Apple’s iPhone 6 breaks all records of first-day pre-orders

Apple broke first day pre-orders record for its newly-launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as compared to first-day orders for iPhone 5S and 5C last year. The company received more than 4 million pre-orders in 24 hours.

As per reports, iPhone 6 and Plus will start reaching customers on September 19 while the larger model, iPhone 6 Plus will be shipped in 3 to 4 weeks.

Both models can also be ordered from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and other authorized retailers. According to its website, T-Mobile will start shipping the iPhone 6 in 1 to 4 weeks and the iPhone 6 Plus in 1 to 6 weeks. The iPhone 6 starts at $199 with a two-year contract, while the iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299 with same contract.
