Appraisement-West collects Rs 58 billion by end of first quarter

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement-West has collected Rs 58 billion revenue by the end of first quarter (July, August and September) during the fiscal year 2014-15.

According to details, the collectorate has collected total revenue of Rs 23.26 billion in September under different heads, including customs duty, sales tax, federal excise duty and withholding tax against a set target of Rs19.4 billion for September.

As per statistics, the collectorate has collected Rs 9.19 billion customs duty against a set target of Rs 9.6 billion in September.

The collectorate has collected Rs 10.18 billion sales tax against a set target of Rs 6.8 billion; Rs 281.61 million FED has been collected against a set target of Rs 124.24 million and gathered Rs 3.6 billion withholding tax against a set target of Rs 2.8 billion.

Similarly, the Appraisement-West has collected total revenue of Rs 18.1 billion under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty in August.

According to statistics, the MCC-Appraisement-West has collected revenue of Rs 6.2 billion customs duty. It has also collectorate Rs 8.5 billion sales tax.

The Appraisement-West has collected Rs 3.2 billion income tax in August. It has also collected Rs 136.71 million federal excise duty in August.

The Appraisement-West collected total revenue of Rs 16.7 billion under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty in July.

According to details, the collectorate has collected Rs 5.88 billion customs duty, Rs 7.66 billion sales tax, Rs 3.06 billion income tax and Rs 104.06 million FED in July.
