LAHORE: Ms Irum Ahsan, Senior Counsel along with delegation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) met with Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of the Lahore High Cout (LHC) and discussed steps that could be taken to enhance judicial capacity for implementation of the environmental law cases.
During their visit, the ADB delegation informed the judge that an international standard environmental law curriculum has been prepared. Justice Shah said that he is very pleased to start teaching Environmental Law Curriculum as a mandatory subject at the Punjab Judicial Academy under the guidance of Committee for Enhancement of Environmental Law, the committee was constituted by the august Supreme Court of Pakistan.
