The dealers will contact the respective Q7 owners for arranging appointment at workshop. According to the company, the process will roughly take half an hour and will be carried out free of cost. The company also added that the defective vacuum line may cause engine oil to enter in the braking system which can damage the diaphragm in the brake and affect its efficiency.

Audi said the technical issue regarding the brake is only seen in the 3.0 litre diesel engine while the rest of diesel and petrol variants are not affected. The trained mechanics at Audi’s authorised workshop will also check the brake booster system for any oil contamination which will be replaced if required. The four ring company has recently updated its Q3 and Q5 model lineup apart from launching company’s most affordable saloon A3 in India at Rs 22.95 Lac. Globally, the Ingolstadt based manufacturer posted a sales growth of 6.4 per cent for the month of September.
