BAKU: Azerbaijani fishermen are actively involved in drugs, alcohol and cigarettes smuggling.
According to the State Border Service (SBS), on June 29 during registration of a fisher boat’s cargo SBS officers found 1,150 grams of marijuana, 4,600 boxes of Kent cigarettes, 2,000 boxes of MM cigarettes, 5,970 packs of Altram-2000 medications, 15 Samsung Galaxy telephones. According to preliminary data, those smuggled goods were purchased in Iran.
