WARSAW: Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Puławy is going to spend PLN 2.2 billion on three investment projects at Puławy plant which will be completed by 2021, the ISBnews agency reported on Friday.
The company decided to construct a mechanical granulation installation worth PLN 385 million, to be completed by 2019, a new nitric acid installation for PLN 695 million, to be finalized by 2021 and a combined cycle gas and steam unit (400 MWe) valued at PLN 1.125 million, to be carried out by 2019.
Azoty Puławy said the three projects will improve their productivity and make the plant self-sufficient, employment in the region will increase and their clients will be provided with better products.
