DHAKA:Deputy Director of Bangladesh Customs Intelligence, Mustafizur Rahman, said that customs arrested an employee of Bangladesh Biman Airlines over gold smuggling at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The case was filed after a recovery of around 14 kg gold from a flight of Biman on January 14.
Earlier today, customs intelligence seized eight gold bars weighing 932 grams worth around Tk 50 lakh at the airport.
