WASHINGTON: Battlefield: Hardline revealed that the game is going to hit the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms on March 17.

he more direct application is the single player. In terms of pacing and story and art and atmosphere, that really helped us with the single player of this quite a bit, helped us deliver something different to what other Battlefield games have done. Then just an overall prioritization around being tight and polished and well executed as a game.

Battlefield: Hardline is an interesting upcoming entry in the Battlefield series from EA. The game pits cops against robbers in a heist and defense scheme instead of the typical war setting.

It’s not being made by DICE, either. Battlefield: Hardline comes from Visceral Games, the same studio behind the likes of Dead Space and Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel. Visceral has had contact with the Battlefield franchise before, though. It’s the studio behind the End Game DLC for Battlefield 3.

The big questions for this new game come from two major places. First, will it be more structurally sound than Battlefield 4. Put plainly: will it work? Second, will the story be worth enjoying? There’s a lot of potential for the story in this one with the interesting cop drama setup that Visceral appears to be taking. Whether or not it pulls it off remains to be seen.
