Belarus suggests more forums, business meetings to Germany in order to intensify economic cooperation

BERLIN: Belarus suggests more forums and business meetings to Germany in order to intensify economic cooperation, Deputy Economy Minister of Belarus Anton Kudasov said as he met with representatives of German business circles led by CEO of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Rainer Lindner on 26 November. Anton Kudasov informed the German representatives on the current economic situation in Belarus and suggested holding more events, forums, business meetings to intensify economic cooperation between the two countries.

Germany made a number of suggestions for boosting cooperation in the field of waste processing, woodworking, health, banking and travel services. Particular emphasis was placed on the cooperation in the field of small and medium-sized businesses, and projects using public-private partnerships. Anton Kudasov noted that these meetings help estimate the level of interaction and identify the areas for further cooperation.
