BRASILIA: Brazilian airline Gol will start regular flights between the cities of Sao Paolo and Havana, from next December 1st.
In its first phase, 150 weekly capacities will be available on Sundays, said Hipólito Rocha Gaspar, Director General of the Agency for Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil).
He explained that until January 31 will be used the route Sao Paolo-Aruba-Havana, while in February customers can travel through Sao Paolo-Manaus-Havana twice a week.
Gol, Brazil’s second largest airline, has concentrated its international flights in the American Southern Cone countries, but also serves two routes to the Caribbean, Dominican Republic and Aruba, mainly demanded by tourists seeking the beaches of these countries.
