LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Broadening Tax Base Unit (BTB) Lahore has issued nearly 150 notices to potential taxpayers here on other day. Sources said that authorities have instructed inspectors to make sure that notices are being served to all potential tax payers. They added that non-filers are being searched with coordination of other sub-departments of FBR so that they could be brought into tax net.
Sources also informed the taxpayers’ properties and moveable assets would be attached to recover tax payments if they fail to deposit their due taxes.
