ISLAMABAD: Business community is playing an important role in the economic development of the country and government should extend maximum facilitation to them to further improve the economy, observed Engr. He lauded the role of ICCI in serving the interests of trade and industry and added that the current system of governance has been unable to deliver desired services to the nation which needs to be changed to provide better services to the people.

Speaking at the occasion, Muhammad Shakeel Munir, Acting President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry highlighted the various issues being faced by the business community. He said ICCI has been demanding from CDA since long for the establishment of a dispensary in industrial areas to cater to the urgent care needs of workers and CDA had allotted a plot for that purpose, but its demarcation has not been done as yet.
