PETERBOROUGH: Police seized more than 14 ounces of cocaine and $20,000 in cash during a raid at a Charlotte street apartment.
Peterborough Police report that officers with the ICAD unit (Intelligence, Crime Analyst, Asset Forfeiture and Drugs) and the Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at the apartment.
Three people were arrested and police seized 406.7 grams (14.48 oz) of cocaine, four Fentanyl patches, four Hydromorph pills and approximately $20,000 of Canadian currency.
Joseph Hobbins, 30, Kirk VanHoekelen, 35, and Gaybryelle Meggan Hood, 20, all from Peterborough, are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl, possession of a controlled substance – Hydromorph, and proceeds of Crime over $5,000.
