HAVANA: Carnival Corp and Fathom, its new cruise line will start its trip to Cuba in May 2016.
With the slogan “The horizon is just the beginning,” the company announced on its Web site, the opportunity to travel to the island in the form of cultural exchange and promoting Cuban society and culture.
In this sense, Fathom proposed travel to the provinces of Havana, Santiago de Cuba and Cienfuegos, in a period of six days, during which they will address topics such as Cuban film, music and cuisine.
While the company has US operating permit on the island since June 2015, it is still waiting for government in Havana. According to its president, Tara Russell talks to obtain the operating license are progressing.
