Powered by an improved game engine that allows for enhanced performances, Cities XXL aims to bank on the same experience provided by the prequel and yet expand on every aspect.

The game is looking to push city-building limits to new heights and will do so by offering over a thousand buildings and structures in over 65 maps that includes new landscapes and environments, and ecological features.

Cities XXL also features support for Steam Workshop. Thus allowing the modding community to add in nearly fifty new buildings that are available for free via the online platform. Over time you can expect the community to add in even more buildings and structures, thus supplying players with a seemingly unlimited stream of content.
