Collector Adjudication seeks FBR clarification about SRO-182

ISLAMABAD: Collector Adjudication Model Customs Collectorate Seema Raza Bukhari has sought clarification from the FBR about SRO-182.

The SRO-182 deals with getting seized goods and impounded vehicles released through bank guarantees. The collector has also banned bank guarantees until submission of the FBR clarification.

Seized goods and impounded cars could not be retrieved against bank guarantees until further orders. She has ordered the additional collector and deputy collector adjudication to implement the decision.

The collector wrote a letter in which she has sought the clarification. It came to the notice of Seema Raza that the bank guarantees were being misused.
