Collector PMBQ Ashhad Jawwad redistributes work among additional collectors

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Port Mohammad Bin Qasim (PMBQ) Collector Ashhad Jawwad has issued office order for redistribution of work among following additional collectors with immediate effect and until further orders:-

  1. Haris Ansari, Additional Collector-I, assigned charge of headquarters, administration, budget & accounts, revenue statistics & analysis, assessment Group V to VII (WeBOC), CIU, MIS/import section, adjudication, (ADC level), registration & licensing (bond/warehousing off dock-terminals) and any other assignment entrusted by the Collector.
  2. Syed Ali Zaman Gardezi, Additional Collector-II assigned charge of examination (QICT, ODTs One Customs), auction, (QICT, off-dock terminals and warehouses), audit (internal and external), inter & intra port movement (IPM), temporary import, permissions under Section 79 (I) (b) and 138 of the Customs Act, 1969. Examination approval of EL GDs, customs laboratory and other assignment entrusted by the Collector.
  3. Javed Sarwar Sheikh, Additional Collector-III, assigned charge of assessment Group-I to IV WeBOC, legal division, law, FTO, PM Portal, ADRC & appeals at all legal for a, FTA cell, refund, recovery, manifest clearance department (MCD) and any other assignment entrusted by the Collector.

The above officers shall update each other on the pending/important issues and established SOPs under each one’s existing assignments and brief the Collector on January 15, 2022 at 4 pm, regarding the same.
