Collector Zahid Khokhar assumes charge after 40-day

LAHORE: Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement Lahore Collector Muhammad Zahid Khokhar has resumed his charge after offering 40-day religious obligations.

The collector following resuming office held a meeting with the additional collectors including Additional Collector Tayaba Kayani, deputy collectors and other relevant staff to review the revenue collection status and discussed about preparations for upcoming Public Accounts Committee (PAC) meeting.

Collector instructed the additional collectors, deputy collectors and appraisers at all the dry ports under his jurisdiction and other relevant staff to jack-up efforts for achieving the target of current fiscal year 2014-15.

It is important to mention that Customs Preventive Collector Mukarram Jah Ansari was assigned additional charge of the MCC Appraisement in the absence of Zahid Khokar.
