KIEV: Metal companies in Ukraine cut exports of metal products in kind by 26.3 in Jan.-May 2015 year-over-year, to 8.4 million tonnes, and in absolute figures exports fell by 40.7 percent, to $3.5 billion.
According to the minutes of a meeting of representatives of the mining and metal industry in Ukraine, published by the Metallurgprom association (Dnipropetrovsk) on July 14, the share of exports of total rolled steel production was 86 percent compared to 84 percent year-over-year, and 46 percent of exported products were semi-finished products.
