The meeting will take place a few months after the visit to Belgium of Bruno Rodriguez, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, as part of his tour of several member countries of the European Union.

On that occasion, the Cuban Foreign Minister thanked Belgium for its contribution to the negotiations Cuba and the European Union are having in search of new agreements on economic and trade cooperation.

Rodriguez also verified the good development of ties with Brussels, and the need to expand bilateral trade, an interest on which they should make progress on Thursday in the business missions.

Representatives of the Caribbean nation will present visitors the new investment opportunities that Cuba offers to foreign capital in key sectors of its economy and particularly in the Special Development Zone of Mariel.
