HAVANA: Cuban ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Enrique Enriquez stressed in the capital Riad his country´s relations with this nation and with the Arab world in general, which Havana has always extended its solidarity.
During an interview with Saudi 24 television, the diplomat recalled aspects of relations of the Cuban Revolution with Arab nations and also addressed the ongoing process to normalize relation with the United States by explaining that although bilateral diplomatic relation were reestablished and embassies reopened in Washington and Havana, the United States maintains its economic, commercial and financial blockade of the island.
Ambassador Enrirquez also addressed the current update of Cuban economy and the opportunities that the island offers to international tourism.
