LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling on Thursday heard 14 different cases, including pre-arrest bail pleas of suspects.
Most of the cases were adjourned without any proceedings as the parties and lawyers concerned did not appear in the court. Hearing of pre-arrest bail pleas bail plea filed by Iftikha Ahmad, Mian Waqas Riaz, Mustafa and Raza Mustafa were adjourned for new dates. It may mention here that Raza Mustafa and Zia Mustafa are allegedly involved in smuggling and also wanted to Customs Intelligence.
The cases of tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics were scheduled for the day. In a drug smuggling case, ANF lawyer submitted report against the accused, Mirza Iqbal.
