LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for two directors of Nimra Textile Mills, who have failed to pay Rs 20 million for the last many years
As per details, Inland Revenue Faisalabad had registered a case against the owner of M/s Nimra Textile Mills for evading tax and summoned the directors namely Arif Mehmood Qureshi and Muhammad Saqlain for investigation, but they failed to appear for investigation even after issuing many notices.
The Investigation team of FBR ultimately approached the Special Court of Customs and appealed to issue arrest warrants of the directors of M/s Nimra Textile Mills.
After listening arguments of investigation team, customs court issued non bailable arrest warrants of both directors and asked the concern department team to arrest them until next hearing.
