Customs holds auction of seized items at Mughalpura Dry Port

LAHORE: The Customs Appraisement held the auction of seized goods at Mughalpura Dry Port in which a number of parties and common citizens participated.
According to details, Customs Appraisement held the auction of generators, water cool engines, diesel engines, generators and circuit breakers and other spare parts and goods.
Customs Appraisement received offer of Rs 6.5 million against seized goods, including 163 generators, 15 water cool engines and 1,458 kilograms of foreign origin circuit breakers. Numbers of parties have participated in the auction in which the goods were auctioned off at Rs 6.5 million.
Customs Appeasement finalized the offer and forwarded for further approval by high officials of the department.
Auctioneer Shahid Mehboob while talking to Customs today said that more than 20 parties were interested in buying of generators and engines and Rs 6.5 million was the highest offer which is concluded for further proceeding.
