MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation (CII) Multan region has cleared a suspected truck involved in engine smuggling which earlier had been taken into the custody by Dera Ghazi Khan (D.G.Khan) police.
As per details, the DG Khan police intercepted a truck and asked the truck driver to produce legal proof regarding the loaded material on the truck. The loaded stuff were being transported from Quetta to Lahore under the cover of scrap material.
After investigation, it was revealed that there is only scrap loaded on the truck and the driver has the documentary proof for the loaded material. Therefore, Customs Investigation has cleared the truck.
