KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait Customs officers at International Airport foiled the attempt of a popular businesswoman to smuggle banned adult materials into the country here the other day.
The luggage screening machine at the airport showed that the bag of the woman, who came from London, contained illicit items; so they checked the luggage thoroughly. The officers seized the items although the woman appealed to them, explaining that she purchased the items from a shop in London for personal use. They then told the woman the items are prohibited in Kuwait so she cannot take them.
