LAHORE: Model Customs Collectorate Lahore Anti Smuggling team has confiscated smuggled air conditioners and electronic equipments of Rs 35 million in a raid.
As per details, Superintendent Ajmal and Ijaz Shah with anti smuggling team upon directives of Collector Customs Mukarram Jah Ansari, raided the warehouse on tip of some officials that a smuggler has concealed foreign smuggled items worth millions of rupees in his ware house located in Abid market Lahore. The smuggled items reportedly belong to a resident of Landi Kotal, temporaily residising in Lahore Cantt. He was selling these smuggled goods in the local market.
Customs has lodged a case against the accused and further investigation is under way.
