FAISALABAD: The District Coordination Officer (DCO) visited Dry Port at Chak Jhumra Road on Thursday and met with the trustees of the dry port.
Discussing various issues, the DCO informed the trustees that Chak Jhumra Road had been taken up for construction on top priority basis and administrative approval had been accorded for this project.
He assured that the encroachments alongside the railway lines and Chak Jhumra Road would be removed during an operation.
He informed that various measures were being taken for the beautification and development of the city and attention had been focused to strengthen institutions for sustainability and durability of the projects.
